Ourchive Research Team
Built from real student needs, Ourchive is a research-driven record management system focused on secure and practical academic file handling.
Our Story
In school year 2025-2026, this project was developed by a team of fourteen researchers: Diocos, Eloisa Cathlyn; Palencia, Angeline; Arado, Rachelle; Bartulo, Louella Jersey; Cabañez, Mary Jane; Daulo, Angel Carlos; Ercillo, Jean Rose; Ibeas, Benedict Miguel; Melendres, John Carl; Orbillo, Claire; Palunday, Charles Aerol; Pastolero, Melvin; Razon, Jermaian John; and Sauza, John Andrew.
Our team conducted the study titled "RECORD MANAGEMENT PRACTICES AND ITS EFFECTIVENESS IN STUDENT ORGANIZATION TOWARDS A WEB-BASED SYSTEM" with guidance from Dr. Renz Catherine G. Domingo after observing that many students experience difficulties in keeping, organizing, and retrieving important files and documents, especially those needed for OJT requirements and academic enrollment processes.
Recognizing this common challenge, our group developed Ourchive. Ourchive aims to improve records management by allowing users to store, organize, maintain, and easily retrieve records in a digital environment. Through this system, students can systematically manage their OJT documents, enrollment requirements, and other academic files, reducing the risk of document loss and improving efficiency in handling important records. Being web-based, the system also allows users to access their documents across different devices, making file management more convenient and reliable.
